【1日目】【Day 1】
樫原神宮前集合、バスで万葉文化館へ、その後、周辺散策。
We’ll meet up at Kashihara Jingu-mae Station, take a bus to the Manyo Cultural Museum, then walk around the area.
1日目は、公共のバスと徒歩のコース。樫原神宮前駅に集合し、かめバスで「奈良県立万葉文化館」に向かい、見学の後、徒歩で「酒船石」「飛鳥寺」(見学)「入鹿の首塚」をめぐり、「飛鳥坐神社」にお参りした後「ひもろぎ」で飛鳥鍋の昼食し、午後は徒歩で「水落遺跡」から「あすか夢の楽市」へ向かい、そこから徒歩で大和三山明日香一帯を見晴らす「甘樫丘の展望台」に上ります。その後も徒歩で「雷の丘」を経て北に香具山を望み樫原神宮前駅の宿へ。
On Day 1, we’ll travel by bus and on foot. We’ll meet up at Kashihara Jingu-mae Station, take a bus to the Nara Prefectural Manyo Culture Museum, then walk to the Sakafune Stone, Asuka-dera Temple, the Head Monument of Iruka, and Asuka Imasu Shrine, and have a traditional “Asuka-nabe” lunch at Himorogi. In the afternoon, we’ll walk to the Mizuochi Ruins and Asuka Dream Market, then go up to the observation deck on Amakashi-ga-oka Hill, which commands a view of the three mountains of Yamato and the rest of the Asuka area. After that, we’ll walk to Ikazuchi-no-Oka Hill, look at Mt. Kaguyama to the north, then return to our lodging near Kashihara Jingu-mae Station.
【2日目】【Day 2】
宿から、石川池を経て明日香中心部周辺散策の後、石舞台から徒歩で稲渕地区へ、帰りも徒歩で「天武・持統陵」から「鬼の雪隠」「鬼の俎板」を経て、近鉄飛鳥駅まで。
From our lodging we’ll head to Ishikawa Pond, explore the center of Asuka, then visit the Ishibutai Tumulus and walk to the Inabuchi District, visiting the graves of Emperor Tenmu and Empress Jito, the Demon’s Toilet and the Demon’s Cutting Board before finally returning to Kintetsu Asuka Station.
2日目は、樫原神宮前駅の宿から徒歩で「石川池」を経由し、「豊浦寺」へ、さらに徒歩で「飛鳥宮跡(飛鳥板葺宮跡)」を経て「石舞台」へ。「飛鳥の夢市」で昼食をとり、明日香川をたどり稲渕集落の石橋(飛び石)を見て、川沿いに神所橋へ「勧請綱(かんじょうつな)」を見学し、「天武・持統陵」へ向かい「鬼の雪隠」「鬼の俎板」を経て、近鉄飛鳥駅から樫原神宮前駅へ電車で移動し解散します。
On Day 2, we’ll leave our lodging near Kashihara Jingu-mae Station and walk to Ishikawa Pond and Kogen-ji Temple, walk to the Asuka Itabuki-no-Miya Ruins. After that, we’ll visit the Ishibutai Tumulus, have lunch at Asuka’s Dream Market, then follow Asuka River down to Inabuchi Village’s stepping stones, visit the Kamishiro Bridge and its ‘kanjotsuna’ rope along the river, then head to the graves of Emperor Tenmu and Empress Jito, the Demon’s Toilet and the Demon’s Cutting Board, before taking a train from Kintetsu Asuka Station to Kashihara Jingu-mae Station and parting ways.
